Welcome to the website for the new neighborhood association in the Williamson Road Area of Roanoke,Virginia called: Williamson Road Residents Association" or simply "WRARA".

The Williamson Road area is a wonderfully diverse area of both urban and semi-suburban neighborhoods with Williamson Road at its heart. In addition to the neighborhoods, many businesses make their home in our area adding the the convenience and richness of the area's offering. We believe that the WRARA area can do much to enhance our already wonderful community and that indeed is our mission.

Additionally, to improve the effectiveness of our organization as a resource, we believe that we must develop a physical presence in the area. Toward this end, we hope to establish a storefront office that can act as an information and coordination center in the short term. Within 2 years, we we hope to build a new building or renovate an existing structure that will serve as a community center large enough to support most of our envisioned activities for years to come.

DANGER  The Williamson Road Area is at a crossroads. From here it can go UP or DOWN. HOW CAN WE TELL WHAT IS HAPPENING?  Click HERE
